Baseball Card Wilhelm, one of Brooklyn's pitchers, is a native of Ohio, and when a student at Wooster University in that State developed such a ability as a twirler that he got into the professional game with the Canton Club. In 1901 and 1902 he was in the Southern League, and return to it in 1905, after playing with Pittsburg and Boston. In 1906 he helped the Burmingham Team win the Southern League pennant, and in 1908 got back into the Majors with Brooklyn. In 1910 he suffered from a severe attack of typhoid, whichkept him off the diamond the last half of the season. T205 Irvin Wilhelm Reprint Baseball Card
