1993 All-Star Game Program

The 1993 All-Star Game of Major League Baseball was the 64th playing of the midsummer classic between the all-stars of the American League and National League. The game was played on July 13th, 1993 at the Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland, home of the American Leagues Baltimore Orioles. The game was won by the American League 9-3.

The National League fired the first shot as American League starter Mark Langston was rocked for a two-run homer by Gary Sheffield in the first inning, that brought in Barry Bonds.

Kirby Puckett, who had no extra-base hits in seven previous All-Star Games, hit a bases-empty homer in the second and had a run-scoring double in a three-run fifth-inning rally that broke a 2-2 tie and sent the American League to its sixth straight victory.

The MVP of the game was Kirby Puckett.
