1982 All-Star Game
The 1982 All Star Game was the 53rd midseason exhibition between the all-stars of the American
League and the National League. The game was played on July 13th, 1982 at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Canada. home
of the Montreal Expos of the National League. The game resulted in a 4-1 victory for the NL.
This represented the first All-Star Game played outside the United States. But the change in venue didn't help the
American League, as Dave Concepcion drilled a two-run homer to lead the National League to victory.
The MVP of the all-star game was Dave Concepcion Of the Cincinnati Reds.
