1980 All-Star Game
The 1980 All Star Game was the 51st midseason exhibition between the all-stars of the American
League and the National League. The game was played on July 8th, 1980 at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Ca. home
of the Los Angeles Dodgers of the National League. The game resulted in a 4-2 victory for the NL.
The National League shook starter Vida Blue for three runs in the bottom of the third and then scored four more off
Goose Gossage in the eighth to win once again.
The MVP of the all-star game was Ken Griffey Of the Cincinnati Reds.
